  14. DaveJ says:

I just spent 5 hours trying to find this record. I went to bestbuy – barnes and noble – fye – target and I called several others. I happened to stumble upon this post which would have been very useful for me to be more visible on the main pages of this site. I am all about supporting the artist and “BUYING” my music. But I have to say I am very disappointed in my experience. I am a die hard Black Keys fan as well as classic hip hop – I am still very excited about this album. I am going to spend another 2 hours tonight and drive to the Sound Garden in Syracuse – over an hour away just to purchase this. But a heads up to whoever cares ….. this should have been handled and marketed in a better fashion.
Sincerely – Your Fan and Bread and Butter

DaveJ and everyone else that had the same lame experience –
Same thing happened to me, except I KNEW it was only going to be at record stores and on iTunes. There are very few albums I actually think I want a physical copy of, most I just get the digital version. I wanted to pick this one up. Went ALL over Pittsburgh, then went out to Ohio. Luckily I was doing some visiting. But for crying out fucking loud, they didn’t even have it in Highland Fucking Square! What a pain in the dick. By the time I finally got back home to VA to download it from iTunes and realized there was even a missing track, I was pretty pissed off. I do dig on some Black Keys and really dig some Wu Tang. I even kindof dig the idea of drawing people into record stores, but FUCK – Stock ‘Em Up! Dissapointed. 2 big positives on the album – Nicole Wray and Billy Danze!

Black Keys: I love ya, but I want my gas money back.
